I voted SNES though Gamecube would come a very close second. SNES wins for nostalgia purses I guess.

SNES for me too, it was my first console after my beloved Spectrum+.

NES gets my vote. GameCube would be my second choice.

I loved the GameCube, but I could only compare it to the PlayStation, which was the other one I had.

In particular, Rogue Squadron did me in: to be able to take part on the primary offensive on the Death Star? FANTASTIC!  To this day, I still find that the best version of the trench battle, in both graphics and game-play.

I've voted for the Wii U.  Actually, I thought I'd just say that so you'd look up at the poll to see if I really did.

Actually I'm not sure I have a favourite. 

I loved the Gameboy.  I played it wherever, whenever I could and lost hours doing that.  the GB was my introduction to Nintendo too.
 
Snes... well... I liked my MD just as much.

N64 another console I played a lot.  Didn't have anything to compare it to at the time and loved it.

Game Cube was and still is a brilliant machine that I still have hooked up to the TV.

I bought a Wii at launch and played it constantly for a couple of years before it became a technological ornament.  That said, I blow the dust off it now and again and I have some brilliant games for it.  I'm still playing HotDO, Muramasa and a few others.  Oh, and I downloaded RCR on VC instead of xbla in the end.

Wii U - meh.

Weirdly, I feel I like the Wii the most and because of that I make it my favourite.  For now anyway.

Ah c'mon, onthinice!  The Wii is essentially all the former machines rolled into one shiny new package and therefore offers the best of all the machines.  Some would argue it's just a GC with new controls anyway.

That part is fine. It is the part about someone in agreement with Laird on a non-Atari system.
